Question about Bicycle Playing cards?? RIder Backs?

I recently bought a few packs.
But i could tear them up.
Are they meant to be like that??
THey were air-coushioned and all.
But were made of cardboard.

Although I don’t care for them, plastic cards are preferred for their flexibility. After many shuffles, a paper deck will tend to be bowed. Not only will this not happen with plastic cards but it is much easier on the player (as well as the deck itself) when the player just bends the corners up to see his hole cards.

Bottom line: Plastic is more expensive and eco-friendly. Paper cards are classic, easier to find, and just feel better.
